Blocking (Possibly?) DeGrey’s Ghost Can Cause Desync

Summary:
Sometimes I have had desync issues with DeGrey’s ghost. The last four desyncs I can remember while playing DeGrey dealt with DeGrey’s ghost. I believe for the last three desyncs (possible fourth) that the defending player was blocking DeGrey’s ghost. I don’t know exactly what I was doing else at the time. I don’t think I was using another move while the ghost was out. This desync generally happens once every three to four sessions (about 15-20 matches each session) for me. I will try to pay much closer attention the next time and update this topic with each scenario.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Send out DeGrey’s ghost.
  2. Pray for situation that causes desync.

Expected Results:
Match continues as normal without a desync.

Actual Results:
Sometimes a desync happens.

Two more instances of desync with DeGrey’s ghost. The first instance the defending player did not block. He did think that he was trying to jump at the instant the ghost grabbed him. He was using Jaina.

The second instance, the defending player threw out a coin with Lum, the ghost went through the coin, and was just about to contact Lum and the player was blocking with Lum. He does not remember if he was pressing any other buttons.

Both instances, I was pressing forward at the time. I do not think I was pressing any other buttons.

We confirm that this is a source of desyncs. Thanks for the report.
