Title: Friend Request redundancy.

Summary: if you receive a friend request and accept it through the “people” menu, it still says you have a request in the “gear” menu.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Receive a friend request.
  2. Accept it through people menu.
  3. Go to gear menu.

Expected Results: Accepting the request makes the “View Friend Requests” option in the “gear” menu go away.

Actual Results: The request still shows up after accepting once.
