Muffled music after friend request (controller)

Title: muffled music

Summary: when using a controller, you press pause to respond to friend match, but doing so muffles music

Steps to reproduce:

  1. play using controller UI
  2. Receive friend match invitation
  3. press pause to respond yes/no (music will muffle like usual pause)

Expected Results: music goes back to normal volume after closing overlay

Actual Results: music remains pause-muffled even in menus until you go to the music slider (which resets it)

Notes: this happened while playing arcade mode
