What I think would be useful is “want to play” icon that players (with core pack) could toggle on/off that would appear next to their name in other people’s friends listed, to let then know that their are up for a friends match.
This is different form ranked/causal matches that you can play longer set more focused on practice, and additionally play 3v3 without risk of losing rank, control the skill level of the opponent you practice with to be in desirable range (and to a degree character) so this would not seem redundant to queues
Trying to arrange these things in discord seems spammy and many players are not in discord anyway
