Can’t get Switch Pro Controller to work on Macbook Air

Summary:
Can’t get Switch Pro Controller to work on Macbook Air, with or without “Switch Pro Configuration Support”

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Pair Switch Pro controller in System Preferences -> Bluetooth (pressed Sync on the switch controller)
  2. Three ways: just start FS, leaving the green lights on the bottom of the controller blinking; go into Steam Controller Preferences and make it recognize the controller but don’t turn on “Switch Pro Configuration Support”; and turn on “Switch Pro Configuration Support”
  3. The first two ways, everything works except the dpad and analog stick. The third way used to dupe/miss inputs a week or so ago, but now the third way just recognizes no inputs
  4. In all ways, the controller works to navigate in Steam Controller Preferences
