Ritielko had a good suggestion on the Discord chat to maybe let players press Y/square on the “online play” option on the main menu to just instantly toggle both queues to “on,” since that’s going to generally be the standard flow anyway; this way, it would eliminate the need to also press Y, right, Y, B.

Better yet, why not have the game store a state indicating which queues you were in last and the main menu option would re-enable that state (e.g. both like you mentioned above or just ranked if that’s what you had last been searching for).
I’d love an instant resume matchmaking option. Or even one in the pause menu so that if way if there’s a desync that kicks us off and back to mid-way through Boss Rush. We can get back in without having to abandon boss rush to go back to the main menu
