Unable to change name when creating account

I created my account today, and noticed that I was forced into a pre existing name when creating the account. I know we’re entitled to a free name change, and will use that but figured I may as well reach out first. I was playing the game back in the alpha/beta, so my thought was the game referenced my steam account and used my old name.

Just wanted to report that/see if it was possible to get a chance to enter a new name before spending my one-time token to change it.

Yes, this case is about the older version of the game that used your Steam display name directly.

In this specific case, use your free name change to set the name you want, then I’ll reset your free name change use manually. (Let me know what your FantasyTag is at that point.)
