Character Change during a Friend Challange

Summary:
Basically when we play my friend and I can go to the chatacter selection screen and look at each other’s move list. I’m not sure if it’s normal or it happens to others.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Be me.
  2. Challange Drugo.
  3. Start a match by picking characters and arena.
  4. Pause.

Expected Results:
I don’t see the change character option.

Actual Results:
I see the change character option.

Notes:
My opponent could do the same.

In offline local versus mode, you can pause to change characters. That’s on purpose, and in fighting games that don’t allow this, it’s a major usability problem.

In an online friend match, the point of it all is that it’s simulating offline versus in every way possible. That you have the same ability to pause and change characters is on purpose.
