Title:
If a character keeps blocking without actually blocking a hit for too long, the block animation halts
Summary:
If a character enters the blocking pose through proximity guarding and stays in that pose without actually blocking a hit for a long enough time, the blocking animation freezes instead of looping.
Steps to reproduce:
- Pick Argagarg and enter Training mode. Opponent’s character doesn’t seem to matter.
- Set blocking to always.
- Stand next to an enemy, but keep enough distance to not be able to hit with bA.
- Keep using bA.
(This is just the easiest way, this would work with other moves like slowed down projectiles, of course.)
Expected Results:
The blocking animation loops.
Actual Results:
After one play, the blocking animation comes to a freeze and the character is kept in its last frame, until they stop blocking.
Notes:
This seems to have no effect on gameplay, as actually blocking attacks, exiting blocking state and such works as normal.
