Summary:
so something strange happened to me while playing yesterday, after finishing a friend match and disconnecting, there seemed to be a visual glitch in the main menu screen where a static Rook model appeared on top of whatever character there was beforehand.
and when playing, the purple background that usually appears during cinematics was missing. I think it looks pretty cool though.
